Coronadaphysique News
Also taten sie, was von ihnen erwartet worden sei. "Nämlich nichts. Absolut gar nichts", so Lehmann.
"Tage und Nächte blieben wir auf unserem Arsch zu Hause und kämpften gegen die Ausbreitung des Coronavirus". Die Couch sei zur Front geworden, die Geduld zur Waffe.

In dealing with Coronavirus we are confronted with a lot of rules and constraints: Washing hands with regularity and at least for 20 to 30 seconds. Maintaining a minimum of 2 metres (6,5 feet) distance between oneself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing. Sneezing/coughing inside the elbow or tissue, then disposing of the used tissue immediately. Not touching eyes, nose and mouth. No handshaking. And so on. As a result we can either be stressed out by this situation (inadvisable) or (highly recommended) use restrictions as a means of triggering ideas and inspiration ‒ just like a group of French-speaking writers called “Oulipo” has shown us how to do for meanwhile 60 years.
Carrying on this tradition, Ariston Baton (our friend from the Equipe Nadaphysique), wrote the above-noted repetitive poem we can easily recite while washing our hands or during any other regulated activityMittwoch, 18. März 2020
Coronadaphysique: Hot tip # 2: 1001 ways to do nothing while staying at home during a pandemic
to laze
to sleep
to sit still
to sleep
to sit still
being part of the furniture
to hold one’s peace
to hold one’s peace
twiddling one’s thumbs
to kick one’s heels
sitting on one’s hands
to skip work
allowing to be ignored
to drone
to wash your hands of something
to want no part of something
to do squat
to stand in the corner
sitting on one’s hands
to skip work
allowing to be ignored
to drone
to wash your hands of something
to want no part of something
to do squat
to stand in the corner
to leave everything as it is
to leave everything as it was
to meditate
to think nothing of doing something
to be neither here nor there
to leave everything as it was
to meditate
to think nothing of doing something
to be neither here nor there
to forget about something
to swamp something out
doing a nap
not having any of it
to bum around
to linger
chilling
to sleep like a log
to day-dream
to be asleep at the switch
to be asleep at the wheel
waiting
to raise no objection
to make no resistance
to be irrelevant
to throw a sickie
to report sick
to lounge
to swamp something out
doing a nap
not having any of it
to bum around
to linger
chilling
to sleep like a log
to day-dream
to be asleep at the switch
to be asleep at the wheel
waiting
to raise no objection
to make no resistance
to be irrelevant
to throw a sickie
to report sick
to lounge
to be placed in an artificial coma
going comatose
to come late
making a pause
to come late
making a pause
to have no truck with someone
to have no truck with something
to be at rest
to keep still
to keep calm
to skip work
to take five
to clam up
to skip work
to take five
to clam up
to stand on the sidelines
to be lost upon someone
to be clueless about something
to live something down
to die
to be on strike
having packed up
to go with the flow
not to soil one’s hands with something
snoozing
zizzing
catnapping
being bone idle
not to be on speaking terms
to set no great store by something
taking something for granted
to consider it done
to kill time
dawdling away
sitting around scratching oneself
to loiter
to loaf
to lallygag
to hang around
to muck about
practising self-denial
living on others
to freeload
to sponge
to batten
being benched
not giving a shit about something
not giving a damn about something
not giving a smeg about something
not giving a toss about something
to cool one’s heels
to be 404
stretching a point
to turn a blind eye
not lifting a finger
not breaking one’s back
keeping one’s hands off
not burning one’s fingers
turning a deaf ear
being dead from the neck up
getting special treatment
being used to something
not going to the polls
to do somebody no service
feeling free
being as quiet as a mouse
to sit tight
to nurture something
to bite the dust
to lose heart
not having the balls to do something
to be on the scrap heap
not being born
not being interested in something
facebooking
not changing
not to strain oneself
to ressume no responsibility
disappearing without trace
escaping somebody’s notice
to retire
to sign off
to be lost upon someone
to be clueless about something
to live something down
to die
to be on strike
having packed up
to go with the flow
not to soil one’s hands with something
snoozing

Coronadaphysique: Hot tip # 1
Take it easy! Being forced to stay at home in days of pandemic diseases might be a stroke of luck. It can be more exciting than you ever dared to dream of. Hidden, overlooked or not being registrated at first sight for a long time, there's so many fascinating things to be discovered in the privacy of your home. Things that have slipped your attention and now deserve a closer inspection and admiration. Give pieces a chance and fall victim to their charms. See what the Equipe Nadaphysique just discovered in Sugar Ray Buckmiller's music chamber:
coronavirus in the course of time (ariston baton, hourglass poem no. 44)
